Chili Mac

  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • 1 15-oz. can Hunt’s tomato sauce
  • 1 lb. pkg. angel hair pasta
  • 1 lb. grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic Powder
  • 2 Tbsp. cumin
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • Salt and pepper

Brown ground chuck.  Add tomato sauce and seasonings.  Smash with spatula.  Simmer for 15 minutes.  Cook pasta according to package directions.  In a lasagna-type casserole dish, layer pasta, then meat sauce, and then cheese.  Bake at 350 until cheese bubbles (approx. 30 minutes).

NOTE:  This is better when made with cheese you grate yourself rather than the pre-grated cheese.
