- 1 lb. fresh green beans, strings removed, snapped in half, & washed
- ¼ cup bacon grease
- Salt and pepper
Place bacon grease in skillet. Place green beans on top. Cover with water. Add salt and pepper. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
