Taco Salad

(Lee)

Lettuce    Chopped tomatoes
Chopped onions  Sliced black olives
Coarsely chopped avocados 1 lb. ground meat
Grated cheese*  Sour cream (optional)
Salsa (optional)  Jalapeno peppers (optional)

Brown ground meat.  Drain if necessary.  Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, cumin, and chili powder.  In large individual bowls, layer 1st seven ingredients.  Serve with sour cream, salsa, & peppers.

*Use your favorites, such as Taco Blend cheese, Monterey Jack, cheddar, etc.

Note:  You can wrap the above ingredients in taco shells, soft corn tortillas, or flour tortillas instead of serving as a salad.
