  • Rice Consommé

    Brown rice in butter.  Put in hot Pyrex dish; add consommé.  Put in oven at 350 for 20 minutes.  Then add ½ cup each of chopped fresh parsley, green onions, celery, water chestnuts, and canned mushrooms.  Bake for 30 minutes or more (until rice is tender).   • Sautéed Asparagus

    In a large skillet, sauté 2 cloves of garlic and about ½ stick of butter.  Add 1 1b asparagus and cook to liking (I like mine flimsy, so I cook until I can puncture with a fork easily). (Lee Anne)

    Place thawed potatoes in a 9×13 casserole dish.  Mix ½ cup butter, soup, cheese, sour cream, onion, bell pepper, salt, pinch of paprika, and pinch of red pepper.  Pour mix over potatoes.  Mix ½ cup butter with crushed corn flakes, and spread over top.  Bake at 350º for 45 minutes. (Jerry)

  • Corn with Sour Cream

  • Portabella Mushrooms
