Vermicelli & Meat Dish

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 large can mushrooms
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • ½ lb. cheddar cheese
  • ½ stick butter
  • ½ pkg. vermicelli, cooked and drained

Brown onions, peppers, and celery in butter.  Add meat, tomatoes, and the following to taste: garlic, pepper, salt, 1 tsp. curry powder, Worcestershire.  Sauce, and cook until done.  Add the mushrooms, grated cheese and vermicelli.  Mix well and bake for 45 minutes at 350. Serves 8.
