Crawfish Dip

  • 1 lb. crawfish tails   
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • 12 oz. cream cheese (1 1/2 pkgs.) 
  • ½ tsp. red pepper
  • ½ stick butter    
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • Green onions (optional)  

Melt butter, add cut up cream cheese (if cream cheese is at room temp., it will melt more easily).  Stir in seasonings.  Stir in crawfish (drained).  This is easily doubled, tripled, etc.
For Atkins, use pork rinds or spoons for dipping.  Lee Anne uses this to fill omelets.
