Chicken & Noodles

  • 1 Cut-up whole chicken
  • Chicken broth
  • 2 large packages of extra-wide egg noodles
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder

Cut up whole chicken, or buy cut-up chicken.  Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.  Put in large pot.  Cover with ½ water and ½ chicken broth (from can).  Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 hour.  Remove chicken and take meat off bones.  Return meat to pot.  Add more chicken broth.  Bring to boil.  Add 2 large packages extra-wide egg noodles.  Return to boil, reduce heat, and simmer until noodles are done.
