4 bananas
1 stick butter
¾ cup brown sugar
1 ½ - 2 oz. Courvoisier (a type of cognac)
Vanilla ice cream
Quarter bananas by cutting them in half long ways and short ways. Melt butter in skillet on 2/3 heat. Place bananas flat in butter. Pour brown sugar on bananas. Gently stir to melt brown sugar on bananas. When butter and sugar start to bubble and bananas are soft, add Courvoisier. Light Courvoisier on fire, and let it burn out. Serve over ice cream.
